Joshua Generation Cornerstone Church, was established March 31st 2013 on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University. Our first service was held at the Tsar Rm. In attendance was Pastor Joseph Atkins, Lady Elect Nakia Atkins, Pastor James Owens, and Lady Elect Marsha Owens. Also in attendance was Kiara Atkins, Josiah Owens, Brianna Owens, Megan Owens, and Jacob Owens, and over 83 students. Praise and worship was conducted by the angelic voices of GCOI; consisting of, Terry Blake, Alyson Moore, Alexandria Smith, Chenoa Hall, Brianna Nicole, and JuLisa Atkins.

Pastor Joseph Atkins preached a mind blowing sermon that dealt a blow to the Satan and his kingdom and caused many to come asking what must I do to be saved. Also during this service many were healed of infirmities, the bound were set free and Heaven rejoiced. Our Wednesday night Bible studies started out the week of Rush Week.  Many came for prayer and deliverance. Bible studies grew every meeting with students feeling they were receiving the truth and were able to have their most intimate questions answered.

On July 27, 2014 Pastor Joseph Atkins was officially installed as pastor of the Joshua Generation Cornerstone Church. During this time God spoke to our pastor and said, that it is time to move the ministry to Lansing, Michigan. May 4, 2014 we had our first service in Lansing, Michigan at 837 Vincent Ct. Deacon Duke Starks, Maurice Starks, and Jr Deacon Clinton Dildy came aboard and have been a blessing to the ministry ever since.

God is continually blessing the church and will be relocating in the near future.
